Corn Vodka

BCD Corn Vodka is distilled one batch at time from a wash of 100% Colorado grown yellow corn then carefully distilled in our 16-plate column still. Each chill filtered bottle is signed by the distiller and hand numbered resulting in a smooth finishing grain to bottle vodka with a neutral aroma and a slightly sweet corn flavor. Enjoy neat or mixed as your favorite cocktail.

Wheat Vodka

BCD Wheat Vodka is handcrafted one batch at a time from a mash fermentation of 100% organic wheat and then carefully distilled in our 16 plate column still. Each chill filtered bottle is hand numbered and signed by the distiller resulting in a soft and smooth, grain to bottle vodka that can be enjoyed neat or mixed as your favorite cocktail.

Rye Whiskey

BCD Rye Whiskey is distilled one batch at a time from a wash of 100% organic dark rye and then matured in new American White Oak 30 gallon barrels. Once matured, each 30 gallon batch is down proofed to 90 proof and becomes its own unique batch. While each batch’s flavor profile slightly differs, the process and attention to detail remains true, batch after batch, time and time again. Enjoy as you will. Neat, iced, or mixed as a cocktail. Makes a great Old Fashioned.

Spiced Rum

BCD Spiced Rum is handmade using our award winning Silver Rum and infusing it with our own blend of vanilla, orange, clove, all spice, pepper corn, and ginger. Nothing artificial in here. We like it neat or mixed in a cocktail. Try a Spiced Stormy in the tasting room or make one at home by using BCD Spiced Rum in place of the dark rum in your next Dark and Stormy.

Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Some say bourbon is king and in 2012 when we set out to build a craft distillery this is what we had in mind, BCD Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Mashed, fermented, distilled, and matured in house, we take great pride and care in producing our Straight Bourbon. Matured in 53 gallon American white oak barrels a minimum of 4 years, Colorado’s warm days and cool nights help shape the identity of this bourbon. Dark mahogany in color with spice and oak on the nose, followed up with a creamy mouth feel and flavors of cereal grains, spice, clove, and fruit all ending in a smooth bourbon finish.

Wheat Whiskey

BCD Wheat Whiskey is distilled one batch at a time from a wash of 100% organic whole wheat. Like our rye whiskey it is then matured in new American White Oak 30 gallon barrels. Once matured, each 30 gallon batch is down proofed to 90 proof and becomes its own batch. The mashing and distillation process remains the same batch to batch but having originated from a single barrel allows the whiskey to develop a slightly different flavor profile between batches. Enjoy as you will. Neat, iced, or mixed as a cocktail.

Wheated Bourbon Whiskey

Shortly after we began barreling what would become BCD Straight Bourbon we decided to barrel a second bourbon using our original bourbon recipe but replacing the dark rye in the mash bill with whole wheat. By no means an original idea but we’re glad we tried it and we think you’ll be glad we did as well. BCD Wheated Bourbon is fermented and distilled with the same care as our Straight Bourbon but is then matured in 30 gallon American white oak barrels. Once hatched our Wheated Bourbon holds a dark mahogany color, and the aromas of vanilla, oak and caramel. On the palate it is slightly sweet with flavors of caramel and fruit followed with a smooth bourbon finish.

White Whiskey

Some call it Moonshine, White Lightning, or White Dog, we call it White Whiskey. BCD White Whiskey is distilled using the same recipe, process and attention to detail we put into our Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The major difference is, instead of being matured for years in new oak barrels we briefly store our White Whiskey in used bourbon barrels resulting in a corn forward drinkable “un-aged” whiskey. Try it neat, iced or as a substitute for vodka in your next Moscow Mule. Also infuses well with your favorite fruit.

1859 Vodka

Born high in the rocky mountains, our distillery sits on top of Miners Mesa in the Artisans Point District of Black Hawk, Colorado at 8650 feet in elevation. Here we work day and night to craft spirits worthy of our incredible mountain location, using 100% Colorado grains and water from some of the highest peaks.

Our 1859 products are a specially crafted line of products from Rick Thomas Distillery with the goal of expanding the type of products available from our distillery. We find that our products are perfect to be enjoyed on the mountain with your favorite winter sports, in a warm cabin with friends, or on any adventure you might find yourself on. Declan Watts, the Master Distiller, has studied the art and science of making whiskey at Colorado State University in their Fermentation Science and Technology program, as well as studied distillation at the Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, the home of The Institute of Brewing & Distilling.

Bimini Coconut Gin

The coconut flavor is introduced to the original gin without the use of any flavor extracts. Instead, they use organic Fair Trade Certified Extra Virgin coconut oil in a process know as â€ufat washing.” The oil is heated to a liquid state and combined with their original gin to infuse it with pure coconut flavor. After the infusion has completed, the mixture is chilled until the oils solidify and can be strained back out. The result is a subtle, natural coconut aroma and flavor in perfect harmony with their other botanicals.

Pear

Apples and pears are two tree fruits with enough in common that you’d expect them to blend this well together in a cider. What you might not expect, though, is the full nose of fresh white pear that greets you front and center of this supposed “apple” cider. It’s the pear that truly steals the show here, making you feel like you just bit into a big, juicy one with every sip. Hints of vanilla and floral notes give this unique pear cider a full, soft finish.

Brut N’ Boujee

Who says hops in cider isn’t a good idea? We challenge you to put our Brut N’ Boujee in front of the most cynical disbeliever and watch them change their tune starting with the first sip. We avoid the expected bitterness by dry-hopping our cider, pulling out floral and citrus notes that you’d never be able to detect in an aggressively-hopped IPA beer. Add a touch of natural sweetness with white clove honey, and you’ve got one of the most uniquely refreshing drinks around. We call it the champagne of ciders!

Wild Cider loves to innovate, and our original Hard Apple is no exception. We chose no less than six unique apple Varietals to compose the flavor profile of this multiple award winner. Our slow and cold fermentation process preserves the vibrant flavors of the apples, bringing out delicate subtleties to delight the palate. The result is a crisp balance between sweet and tart, with rich, nuanced flavor that makes it feel like each sip is its own unique experience.
