Deliria was created by Huyghe Marketing manager Catherine Dubrelle and the brewing team in honor of International Women’s Day. Each year it is 100% women brewed with the slogan “brewed by women, enjoyed by all.”
With that slogan in mind, a recipe was developed that creates a beer with champagne-like effervescence and white wine grape flavor on the initial taste. As you drink, it evolves into notes of clove, coriander, and apricot.
National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and Pink Boots Society are two of our beneficiary partners around this brew. The partnership with NBCF links a donation for every ounce that is imported into the United States to NBCF. For the Pink Boots Society, there is an annual educational scholarship, which involves an essay contest with members where the winner receives a trip to Belgium to brew Deliria. Elite’s very own Terry Cekola came over to brew Deliria a few years ago as well.
