Founded in 2000, Stewart Cellars is the collaborative project of founder Michael Stewart, his son James Stewart, daughter Caroline Stewart Guthrie, and son-in-law Blair Guthrie. Together, the family oversees all aspects of the winery’s operations: James manages sales, marketing and distribution; Caroline leads the day to day operations along with each wine’s development; and Blair, the winemaker, captures the signature terroir of our premier vineyards.

Our tasting room, opened in 2016, is located in the heart of Yountville just steps from the famous French Laundry.  It has been written up in Forbes, Conde-Naste travel, and numerous other publications as must-see destination in Napa.  The New York times went so far as to call it the “most beautiful tasting room in all of California” and our NOMAD library room is the only place in the world you can enjoy a flight of all six Beckstoffer Heritage Cabernet Sites, including Dr. Crane, Las Piedras, and To Kalon.
