Drink this wine while cooking
Funckenhausen Rosé – Made from Malbec & Cabernet fruit, this rosé is bursting with tart red raspberries and aromatic floral notes. The Argentinian winemaker uses the Mendoza climate to craft a rosé that is delicious year after year. Funckenhausen rosé is packaged in a 1 Liter bottle, making it a great wine to share with friends and family and sip on while getting started in the kitchen. The wine is light on the palate with a fresh and dry finish that makes you want to keep coming back for more.

La Calcinaie Vernaccia di San Gimignano – This white wine from Italy is a blockbuster and an excellent compliment to any appetizer. Made from Organic grapes, this Vernaccia from Le Calcinaie is vivacious and has a touch of green apple and white flower notes. It pairs best with cheeses, seafood starters, steamed and grilled fish or any white meat. While Vernaccia may be a lesser known varietal, those that enjoy this wine quickly have a new favorite they love to tell their friends about.

Bortolotti Prosecco Brut – These bubbles are extremely versatile for all courses during the big day, but the toast right before dinner is where it really shines. Hand harvested Glera grapes grown in high altitude from the commune of Valdobbiadene give this wine a perfectly balanced acidity. This prosecco is a truly unique choice your guests will love.

Maquis Cabernet Sauvignon – In the heart of the Colchagua Valley, Maquis specializes in distinctive single vineyard wines that are balanced and deliver an outstanding bang for your buck. This Cabernet presents a complex, profound nose of clove, cocoa, and red fruits. It is vibrant with fresh fruits that come together to produce a smooth and harmonious flavor. It pairs well with many of the classic side dishes that accompany the big bird, especially green bean casserole and cranberry sauce.

Almas Das Calçadas Madiera 5 year Rainwater – What in the world is rainwater? Well, rainwater madeira is a lighter, drier style than most madeiras. Although it is rarely produced, this is one of the best aperitifs one could recommend. It has nutty and caramel notes with a smooth, long finish that changes many times. This wine pairs well with pumpkin pie or stands alone as a liquid dessert if you are too stuffed to eat one more bite. Unlike most wines, this wine will not oxidize once it is opened, therefore, it can be stored over the coming weeks if it’s not finished. Odds are it will the steal the show and your guests will leave you wishing you bought two bottles.

Domaine J. Denuzière Cornas – Producing wine since 1876, Maison Denuzière makes some of the most complex and delicious Syrah France’s Northern Rhone region has to offer. Bursting with an enticing nose of sweet fruits, crushed roses and lavender, the palate shows flavors of toasted berries and nuts. This wine is beautifully structured with a finish that is lengthy and delicious. Open this wine as a treat for all and your in-laws will thank you.
